Stephanie is a loving wife and devoted mother to 3 beautiful girls (Tinsley, Harley and Teegan). When she is not running them around to their various activities, she enjoys leading a community in dance and fitness.
Growing up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Stephanie attended Stillwater High School, and went on to attend Oklahoma State University. She cheered on the varsity Oklahoma State University cheer squad. On a team trip to cheer for the Big IIX Men’s Basketball Tournament, Stephanie fell in love with Kansas City and felt called to live there one day. Little did she know, she would fall in love with and marry a western Kansas boy who felt the same calling.
Even though she cheered in college, dance has always been in Stephanie‘s blood. When the devastation of Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, and the New Orleans Hornets NBA team was forced to relocate to Oklahoma City, Stephanie tried out and made the NBA dance team as a Honeybee. However, God had other plans for her and she got a job with a biomedical sales company and relocated to Birmingham, Alabama. Stephanie and Chris married and moved to Kansas City, where she has been improving lives in the wellness and fitness space for 9 years. Stephanie teaches cardio dance, yoga fusion and cycle at Genesis Health Clubs and LifeTime Fitness.
Growing up, Stephanie and her family were always very involved in their local church. She was fortunate enough to be a part of several overseas mission trips, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and she learned at a very young age the importance of serving others. In high school, her family was called to relocated to Brazil for a semester to continue God‘s work where they helped with a local church plant.
Stephanie has been engaged locally with non profit organizations such as KC Kansas Angels and Free Hot Soup. She feels so incredibly honored to be dancing for KidsTLC, under the BMA Foundation by raising awareness and charitable giving for their cause. KidsTLC exists to transform the lives of children and families experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, developmental trauma and autism.
