Christina Williams

$20

Christina Williams was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  She is the middle child of 3 children. Her maternal grandfather, Jerry Culver, was a hall of fame football coach at De La Salle and Rockhurst High School.  Catholic education was extremely important to him and her grandmother, Barbara, as they gave back whenever they could and helped pave the way for the Catholic education Christina provides her children today.  She attended grade school at Christ the King in the Waldo area and Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kansas, where she met her husband Joe. They have been married for 15 years and have 3 children together. Stella (12), Cora (9), and Joseph (6) all attend school Saint Thomas More grade school.  After high school, she attended college for a few years before pursuing a career as an aesthetician.  During her time as an aesthetician, she was blessed to take part in the American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program for over 10 years.  The program focused on teaching cancer patients different makeup techniques and proper skincare regimens to help restore their confidence.  The program was something she really enjoyed taking part in, and it fueled her desire to give back her time to others.  Earlier this year, she was approached by a dear friend with the opportunity to participate in the Dancing With the Stars charity campaign to benefit St. Thomas More and the STM For All program. Without hesitation, she agreed, knowing that this was a great way for her to help raise money for the school and the community her family loves!  While she is honored to dance, she is also a little terrified as she has no formal background in dance. However, she is usually the first one on the dance floor at any event, and you will often find her having dance parties in the kitchen with her kids!  She is looking forward to putting on her boogie shoes and dancing to support the inclusive education for all the children of St. Thomas More!
