Dan Harmon

$25

Dan Harmon is a proud husband father, grandfather, veteran, and longtime Kansas City community
member who is stepping far outside his comfort zone for a cause close to his heart.
A nine-year U.S. Navy veteran and a 30-year Kansas City area resident, Dan earned his business
degree from Baker University and has spent much of his career building relationships, serving
others, and supporting the local community through his church and various charitable efforts.
While Dan has never taken a dance lesson in his life, he enthusiastically accepted the challenge to
participate in the BMA Foundation’s Dine and Dance with the Stars fundraiser. His motivation is deeply
personal. Dan is dancing in honor of his daughter, Adrienne, who recently lost her courageous battle
with breast cancer.
Adrienne was actively involved in the C You in the Major Leagues Foundation’s C10 Leadership and
Mentoring Program, one of the many organizations supported by the BMA Foundation. Her passion
for mentoring and developing future leaders left a lasting impact on those around her. Through this
event, Dan hopes to honor her legacy while helping raise funds for the BMA Foundation and the
many charitable organizations it supports.
When he is not preparing for his ballroom dance debut, Dan enjoys traveling with family and friends,
exploring new destinations, discovering new and unique local restaurants and spending lots of time
with his granddaughters.
Dan may be a first-time dancer, but he is honored to take the dance floor in support of a mission that
means so much to his family and community.
“I’m dancing for Adrienne, for the causes she believed in, and to help make a difference in the lives
of others.”
