Jenn Timmons

Jennifer Timmons has been living in Overland Park, Kansas, since 2001 and is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where she earned her degree in Communications in 2018. In 2020, she returned to her family-owned restaurant, Nick and Jake’s, as the marketing and communications manager. Her passion for community, connection, and giving back is deeply rooted in her family’s legacy. She currently sits on the board for Fore the Kids Foundation, which began in 2001 as a small bar golf tournament and has since grown into one of Kansas City’s leading advocates for youth mental health.
After the loss of her younger brother, Nick, to depression in 2017, Jenn and her family launched the Nick’s Voice Fund to expand Fore the Kids’ mission and fund mental health initiatives across the region. The foundation has helped establish programs such as the Depression and Anxiety in Youth Clinic at Children’s Mercy, the Camber Wellness Clinic in Olathe, and school-based social work programs in Blue Valley, among others. When she’s not working or advocating for mental health, Jenn enjoys cooking, reading, and watching Dancing with the Stars. She is honored to represent Fore the Kids at the BMA Foundation’s Dine and Dance with the Stars event.
