Born and raised in southeast Kansas, I began dancing at 3 years old and continued all the way through high school. After graduation I attended the University of Kansas and went on to obtain my nursing degree. I’ve always enjoyed helping people so when my sister had the idea of becoming a volunteer for the Dream Factory, I was inspired to follow her path. After several years of bedside nursing, I crossed over into corporate healthcare. And while my new role frequently requires me to travel, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to combine two things that have a special place in my heart: dancing and the Dream Factory. I’m very excited to be part of this event and to support an organization that always welcomes me home. But more importantly, I’m excited to do this for the kids.
